CPAG’s annual post-Budget hui is back for 2026.
We’ll have in-depth economic analysis of the Budget, while also talking to front-line service providers about the reality of what they’re seeing, and whether Aotearoa New Zealand is putting the future of our tamariki over the politics of the day.
We’ll also host a wider discussion around political trust in a system that has allowed child material hardship to climb to a 10-year high, despite almost unanimous support in Parliament for the Child Poverty Reduction Act 2018.
Our full line-up will be announced in due course, but you can pre-register today with the form below.
For those based in and around the capital, we’re partnering with our friends at St Peter’s Anglican Church in Te Aro, Wellington, to bring you a post-Budget breakfast from 7:30am to 9am, a community discussion on Budget 2026 and its impact on equity and wellbeing.
