Reducing Child Poverty in Aotearoa: Are we there yet?

Emeritus Professor Innes Asher, Starship Wednesday Paediatric Update Presentation, 24 March 2021: Reducing Child Poverty in Aotearoa: Are we there yet?

In this presentation, Professor Asher outlines the history of income support over the last 30-40 years, and shows how, despite the landmark Child Poverty Reduction Act 2018, policy initiatives of the Labour-led governments since 2017 have not been sufficient to seriously address the deep problem of child poverty.
