Cinema screening of 'Inside Child Poverty' & Panel Discussion

Waiheke Community Group - Theatres of Resistance is hosting this fabulous event, which is sure to result in a lively discussion!  

When:  Tuesday 12 March, 7.30pm – 9.10pm
Where:  Waiheke Community Cinema, 127-129 Ocean View Rd, Oneroa, Waiheke Island

The screening has been set bearing ferry times in mind and transport is available to and from the Waiheke ferry terminal. 

-       Ferry departs from Auckland City: 5.30pm and 6.30pm

-       Ferry departs from Waiheke:  9.30pm, 11pm and 12.30pm.

Susan St John – CPAG economics spokesperson and nationally renowned researcher on child poverty.  Janfrie Wakim is a CPAG founding member and on the panel of the Glenn Inquiry into child abuse and domestic violence.  Frances Joychild – legal counsel in CPAG’s long standing human rights case.  Steve Poletti is an economist and long time CPAG supporter contributing to economic and tax policy issues.
