Every child has a right to adequate security, food, shelter, education and healthcare. One in five New Zealand children currently live in poverty due to the neglectful policy of successive governments over the past 20 years.About

The Child Poverty Action Group is an independent charity working to eliminate child poverty in New Zealand by 2020. CPAG speaks out on behalf of tens of thousands of New Zealand's poorest children whose health, education and well-being are compromised by their meagre standard of living.

CPAG is registered as a charitable entity with the Charities Commission, under the Charities Act 2005. Our registration number is CC25387.
