Frances is an human rights lawyer, specialising in human rights litigation with a background in commercial, criminal and family law litigation.
She first became inspired to eliminate child poverty in 2006, when she started a fundraising and awareness raising campaign at her high school, to support poverty-stricken families with terminally ill children at Starship Hospital.
Frances focussed her law honours dissertation on cross-examination of child witnesses. She had also worked as a volunteer lawyer at community law centres, a Refugee Support volunteer for the Red Cross, and a fundraising events coordinator for a charity providing small loans to women entrepreneurs living in charity.
